Academic and Professional Activities
A key innovation of MISEI is the Research Project Internship Line (RPIL), which runs for 18 months alongside coursework during the first three semesters. It supports students step-by-step in developing a strong thesis project:
- In S1, students are offered thesis topics by the consortium and associated partners (students may also propose their own topic, subject to approval).
- In S2, students deepen their research and refine their topic.
- During the Summer School (early September), students present their initial thesis proposals.
- In S3, students further define the scope, methodology, and research direction of the thesis.
Throughout this process, students develop long-term collaborative work skills and learn how to present their progress in professional contexts (oral presentations, written reports, and research roadmaps), under the guidance of academic supervisors from the consortium.
In addition to the four semesters, the program includes several key events that enrich student life and professional development, such as:
- Welcome Day
- Winter School
- Summer School
- Open Seminars on “Inclusive Education in Europe”
- Job Fair
- Master’s thesis defence
- Graduation Ceremony
