Short courses in soft skills, digital skills and clinical lectures
The School of Banking, Finance and Insurance offers a set of short courses each semester to complement its degree programmes with professional, digital and specialist skills.
These short courses are designed to help students strengthen their preparation through learning experiences that combine academic content with practical applications and direct exposure to topics relevant to the banking, finance and insurance sectors.
What students can expect
Soft Skills courses focus on abilities such as self-management, leadership, public speaking, team building, team management and problem solving.
Digital Skills courses are designed to strengthen the ability to use digital tools to process, evaluate and share content effectively.
Clinical Lectures provide in-depth exploration of specific topics, with the aim of developing advanced specialist knowledge and reinforcing professional preparation.
Courses are delivered by lecturers from partner institutions and companies and are integrated with degree programmes, so that students can integrate these additional skills into their academic path. A new financial education initiative developed in collaboration with Stanford University is also being introduced from the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
