Graduates of the School of Banking, Finance and Insurance achieve strong employment outcomes in the years following graduation.
The most recent survey shows a clear upward trend in the employment rate one year after graduation, rising from 84.2% in 2020 to 96.1% in 2025. Employment outcomes remain consistently strong over time, reaching 98.8% three years after graduation according to the latest survey.
These results reflect the School’s ability to prepare graduates for professional paths in banking, finance, insurance, economics and related fields.
Skills for professional environments
Graduates also report having developed a strong set of professional and transferable skills through their academic experience.
The areas most positively identified include:

- problem solving
- planning and organising activities
- teamwork and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
Together, these results point to a learning experience that supports both career readiness and the development of technical and soft skills valued in professional environments.
