The Accounting & Finance area ranked among the top 200 in the world according to QS University Rankings 2019.
The Economics area was among the top 10 in Italy based on Anvur results (VQR 2004-2010).
In the top 200 institutions of higher education internationally, Università Cattolica in Milan is present with 10 areas of study, after recording an increase from 4 to 10 areas in 2015 and entering the top 500 universities in the world in two of the other main rankings: Times Higher Education (THE) and Shanghai Jiao Tong (401-500).
These are significant results in the context of the so-called “comprehensive universities”, i.e. among multidisciplinary universities comprising several scientific faculties and disciplines which, in the case of Università Cattolica, range from humanities to social, economic, legal sciences and medical, agricultural, physical and mathematical sciences.
