In October 2014 the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts signed a framework agreement (pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 139 of 28 June 2005) in order to facilitate access to the profession of Chartered Accountant and/or Accounting Expert. This agreement and the Presidential Decree no. 137 of 7 August 2012 states that local Professional Associations and Universities must implement its contents by signing agreements at a local level.
The Faculty Board of Banking, Financial and Insurance Sciences on 25 January 2018 approved an agreement with the Milan Council of the Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts confirming that the Degree programmes in Economics of Markets and Financial Intermediaries (profile: Finance — Corporate Advisory) of the Faculty of Banking, Financial and Insurance Sciences are aimed at obtaining Undergraduate as well as Graduate Degrees that comply with curricular requirements (in terms of areas of study and research and university credits) and possess the skills required by the framework agreement.
